I thought I heard you call, oh and I came running.
But I left it all behind. So I could pick you up.
When I arrived on site, just a tape recorder.
Playing that same old broken loop. That I thought was you.
I know that I’m a fool and I know that i’m broken
Can you lift me can you sing. Am I a hopeless thing.
I’ll give you all I have But I know it’s enough
Can you make something great..Before it’s too Late
I feel so all alone
It’s cold and dark down here
I don't know where to go
Take away my fear
I know of my mistakes
Can you help me
I really Want to change
Will you forgive me?
I'm a stranger
Im Free
I'm a child
Please help me

Wasting Time

wasting time. on chasing things
that fade. don't satisfy the heart is there
a way to break from this distraction to escape and free myself
unify don't separate. we come from the same cloth. erase
the differences u see in me
I'm flawed and so are u. you see
clear all the wreckage from the storm
Inside your soul
throw away the pain. let it go. forget it all

Show me where it Hurts

I don't believe in you
You don't believe in me
Might not get what you want
But everything you need
Watching the stars fall
To the ground
I do not
Hear a Sound
Come on come on come on
Show me where It hurts
I won't believe a thing
Cover up your burn
You can't go on like this
Let go of all the pain
Wash away the hurt
Standing in the rain
Do u ever stop
Will u let me go
Why do u exist
Does anyone know
All I ever wanted was peace
All I ever asked for was u
No one really wants you here
On and on and on
Come on come on come on
Show me where It hurts
I won't believe a thing
Cover up your burn
You can't go on like this
Let go of all the pain
Wash away the hurt
Standing in the rain

Welcome Home
04:22
|
|||
It’s like a bad dream I
Can’t seem to shake oh not again
Thought you had left me alone
Don’t think I can outrun it
What am_ I supposed to do?
Give me the strength beyond my own
[Chorus]
I’ll let the darkness settle in
Cause we can't move until it ends
I knew that you were coming. I thought I was prepared but here we are
I can’t fix a broken star.
I guess that you'll be staying.
Don’t worry I've left your room alone
I guess I should say Welcome Home
[Chorus]
Let the darkness settle in
Cause we can't move until it ends
But I know _____________
Let it go _______________
No more hiding. No more fear
It won’t get you there
Open up and Let It out
Sometimes you Shout.
I heard you shout
[Chorus]
Let the darkness settle in
Cause we can't move until it ends
Let the darkness settle in
Cause we can't move until it ends
Say goodbye to my old friend
I’m sure this will not be the end

800 South Woodbury Rd
On the corner of the bordering town. A white house with a lot of sound
Always full but almost empty now. That’s where I call home
Playing music staying out real late . (rest) Dads at work, keeping food on the plate
Moms at home trying to keep us straight. She must be losing her mind
Looking back they were the happiest days. We had
everything we needed always someone to play.
safe and protected from the evil ways. Of the outside world
Doors were open to those in need. Mom loved to cook and she loved to feed she’d say
Do good to others and love everyone. But don't forget to have some fun
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We danced through the night and we sang through the day
We brought in the new year that same very way
Oh i'll never forget when I moved away. How much i missed it all
All the noise. the chaos. The banging of drums
the parties the lectures when I did something wrong
the fighting we did just because we were kids. it was fun and I wouldn't trade any of it
the winters the summers the spring and the fall
that cold dreary day when I got the phone call
grandma had left us i felt all alone I knew I'd be fine if I could just make it home
there's been so many changes over the years.
so many joys and so many tears.
we cut down that old oak tree in the back yard
changes brought in growth and sometimes it was hard
behind all the stone and under the wood
if you tear down the walls
knock the house down for good
say goodbye to the fireplace. chimney above.
You will find it was made out of love

Another day in another year
It's come true, all our worst fears
Our little Wesley has gone away
Our hearts broken can't they be repaired
I don't know where to go from here
All we know is that it's not the end
All we know is well see u again
We find hope in the strangest things
In the silly songs. They connect all the strings
We're all connected and we're all here
I got a phone call the other day
I heard the news I don't know what to say
My hearts broken and the feeling remains
Will things ever be the same
You gave us everything that you could. gave us a home and you taught what was good
You showed us the way and the path back home. You taught me that we are never alone
There's no words i could say there's no song i could write
no gift i could give in return for your light
For your patience, your kindness, protection and sig

I’ve got everything
It feels like I know nothing at all
My strength has been tested
I run. Everytime you call.
Help me become
Something much greater than this
All of my life.
I want to be someone…..
Where are you hiding
Don’t leave me alone in this world
Please take me with you
I'm tired and I’m running out
